Vandallar iş başında: Hatay’daki Musevi mezarlığına saldırı

Hatay’da Musevilere ait mezarlığın ‘kimliği belirsiz’ kişilerce tahrip edildiği ortaya çıktı.

Yahudi Cemaati üyeleri, Babalar Günü olan 19 Haziran’da Emek Mahallesi’nde bulunan mezarlığa gittiklerinde; mezarlığı duvarı yıkılmış, kapısını da kırılmış şekilde gördüklerini aktardı. Ailelerine ait mezarların taşlarını da kırılmış bulan Müsavi cemaati, derin üzüntü ve endişeye kapıldı. Şehirdeki büyük Asri Mezarlık’ta Müslümanların yanı sıra Ermeni ve Musevi cemaat üyelerinin de mezarları bulunuyor.

Doçent Dr. Lütfü Savaş, Hatay Musevi Cemaati Başkanı Şaul Cemal’den bilgi aldı. Asri Mezarlık’ın da bulunduğu Emek semtinde cihatçıların yoğun olarak barındığı belirtiliyor.
